Corrections

We hold trusted brands to the standard of correcting the record in the open. We hold ourselves to the same standard.

When we get a fact wrong, we fix it on the piece and leave the correction visible — dated, with a short description of what changed and why. Where it matters, we preserve the prior wording alongside the corrected wording so the change is auditable, not silent.

Corrections appear in a labeled block at the foot of each affected article. There is no separate "quiet edit" path: if the substance of a claim changes after publication, it is logged as a correction.
